Roger is a Technical Writer for Tech Reps Inc., a part time Computer Instructor for The University of New Mexico Continuing Education, and owns a Home based Consulting Firm. (I made him get a job about 3 months after he retired from the US Army. He was driving me NUTS!!)
I have a tendency to volunteer my time for causes that I strongly believe in. I was a volunteer E.M.T. from November, 1989-1996. And a volunteer Firefighter from August, 1992-1996.
We have had computers since 1983, when Roger bought a Cordata for a college course he was taking in Germany. That Cordata was supposed to be a 'portable' LOL it must have weighed close to 80 lbs:-) I started on the Internet in January 1996. And put my first real Web Page up in August 1996.
I enjoy Reading, creating web pages, surfing the Internet, traveling and AUTO RACING!!!!!
We have three children.
A beautiful daughter Kristina, of whom we are very proud. She joined the US Army in February, 1991. She married a wonderful man, Jeffrey in 1993. They reside in Mobile, Alabama with our BEAUTIFUL Granddaughter, Danielle.
Our oldest daughter, Kristen, was stillborn at my eighth month of pregnancy 12 December, 1971.
Our son, Kristofer, was born on 26 December, 1978. And died of allergy complications in Athens, Greece on 1 June, 1979.

I had to put the photo below, Arlington National Cemetary at Christmas Time, in even though it is not just a photo of my babies' grave site, but also 5000 heroes and their family members. It means a lot to me knowing that they get to have a symbol of our Lord's birth at this special time of the year. God Bless you Mr. Worchester and all of the people and children who make this possible!
These wreaths -- some 5,000 -- are donated by the Worcester Wreath Co. of Harrington, Maine . The owner, Merrill Worcester, not only provides the wreaths, but covers the trucking expense as well. He's done this since 1992. A wonderful guy. Also, most years, groups of Maine school kids combine an educational trip to DC with this event to help out. Making this even more remarkable is the fact that Harrington is in one the poorest parts of the state.
December 15, 2006 Roger and I participated in Wreaths Across America here in the great state of New Mexico. Click HERE to see photos and read the newspaper article about the ceremony.

(The following poem was written by a cyber friend
after seeing the bird photo above:)
Not Jett... Birds
Joan of the
birds
she is a saint,
have ya heard
the gentle
caring words
she wispers
to the injured...
while there
at deaths door
and there
is more
one man for
26 years
total trust,
no fears
a true love,
held so dear
in her heart
from the start
till the end
[to me] she
is Joan of the birds...
I will never
call her Joan Jett again!
