My Dear Friends,

One & all, I know that our most common prayer is for Peace in our troubled World.
Sadly, it doesn't look like this Peace will be obtained in the immediate future,
and, unfortunately, our Armed Forces have, once again, been called upon to serve.
I will add the names of friends and family members who have been deployed, below,
so that we can pray for their safety*\(if you wish a loved one added to this list, email me at joan@irlcrew.com include their name, rank and what branch of the military.
Stop for a moment to say this prayer for ALL our troops in the Middle East,
and around the world, then send it to all the people in your address book.

Dear Lord,
please hold our Soldiers in your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need,
& send them all home, safely, to their loving families..

A Soldiers Prayer
I am a small and precious child, my dads been sent to fight..
The only place I'll see his face, is in my dreams at night.
He will be gone too many days for my young mind to keep track.
I may be sad, but I am proud. My daddy's got your back..
I am a caring mother. My daughter's gone to war..
My mind is filled with worries that I have never known before.
Everyday I try to keep my thoughts from turning black.
I may be scared, but I am proud..My daughter's got your back..
I am a strong and loving wife, with a husband soon to go.
There are times I'm terrified in a way most never know.
I bite my lip, and force a smile as I watch my husband pack..
My heart may break, but I am proud..My husband's got your back..
I am a SOLDIER ..Serving Proudly, standing tall.
I fight for freedom, yours and mine by answering this call.
I do my job while knowing, the thanks it sometimes lacks.
Say a prayer that I'll come home. It's me who's got your back.
